Transnational multi-stakeholder partnerships for sustainable development Acknowledgements From April to November 2014 the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) conducts an extensive discussion process to develop a " Zukunftscharta " (Charter of the Future – the Charter) that will guide its strategies for sustainable development. The International Civil Society Centre (ICSC) contributes to the preparations for one specific aspect of the Charter: Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships. In this context, the ICSC has commissioned the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) to write a study on success conditions for public private partnerships for sustainable development. Drafts of this study have been presented and discussed at workshops in London and Berlin.
